Frequently asked questions
Which iPad case fits my model?
The safest way is to check the model number on the back of your iPad (for example: A2898) and match it using our Find My Model tool. iPad names can be misleading — two iPads called "11-inch" may still require different cases due to changes in camera layout, magnet position, or thickness between generations. We always recommend checking the model number rather than relying on screen size alone.
What's the difference between the Origami No1, No3 and No6?
The No1 is our original slim folio — lightweight everyday protection, magnetic stand, no Pencil storage. The No3 builds on the No1 with an integrated Apple Pencil holder and slightly more edge protection, without significantly changing the overall size. The No6 is a more premium folio with elevated materials and a refined finish. If you're not sure, the No1 is the right starting point for most people; move to the No3 if you use Apple Pencil regularly.
Do your cases support Apple Pencil charging?
Yes — compatible models support Apple Pencil magnetic charging and pairing while the Pencil is inside the case. Check the compatibility section on each product page to confirm support for your specific iPad and Pencil generation, as this varies across models.
Do older iPad Air cases fit newer models?
Sometimes, but not always. iPad Air 10.9" cases (2020/2022) fit both the 4th and 5th generation models, for example. These also fit newer iPad Air 11" models including iPad Air 11 (M3) (2025), iPad Air 11 (M4) (2026) and iPad Air 6 / 11 (2024). However, Apple frequently changes camera cut-outs, speaker positions, and magnet locations between generations, so always check the compatibility section on the product page before ordering.
Why can I only see one colour?
Other colours may be temporarily out of stock or sold through. Refreshing the page usually resolves display issues. If a colour is marked "Coming Soon", additional stock is already planned. Some colours are seasonal or limited-run — if a core colour has disappeared entirely, contact us and we can advise on availability.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Are your iPad cases protective against drops?
Yes. All Pipetto cases are designed to protect against everyday bumps, scratches, and drops up to 1.1m/3.6ft, while maintaining a slim profile. Select models — including our shockproof and rugged iPad cases — include reinforced edge protection and shock-absorbing materials for more demanding use.
Why do some iPads with the same screen size need different cases?
Apple regularly updates camera cut-outs, speaker grilles, magnet placement, and device thickness between generations — even when the screen size stays the same. Two "11-inch" iPads can be meaningfully different to fit. That's why each Pipetto case is designed for a specific iPad model, not just a screen size.
